- Create a NX CAD model of the Transfer Fork shown as problem 4 on page 4-36 of the tutorial by Shih. Submit the following images and results as part of your solution: A shaded with edges view from the isometric perspective
- A front view (as if seen from a person standing in the bottom right corner of the image above)
- The problem asks you to compute the total volume of the part (using NX). Report the volume of the part, and its total weight in pounds assuming it is Cast Iron.
- Modify the model by adding fillets with a radius of 0.25 at the areas marked with arrows. Show the revised model in an isometric view, and report the change in volume and weight.
- Now, modify the part by handing the 3.50 dimension on the lower left of the figure to a larger value (your choice, but say what it is in your write up). (Note: if you created your model well, it should take very little effort to make this change.) Show the following: A shaded with edges view from the isometric perspective -The new volume and weight )
