Continuing our focus on development of your teaching portfolio, for this week there are three activities. The first is to develop a sample cover letter. Often this is an area that is paid little attention but is very important in your job search.
Our next challenge is to put together your curriculum vitae. To prepare for this, please download and read the following articles from the South University Online Library.

Finally, evaluate how you have achieved each of the course competencies and your plans to develop further in these areas. The course competencies for this course are as follows:
- Analyze the role of the nurse educator.
- Conduct a learner assessment for the class/classes assigned.
- Prepare a formal teaching plan.
- Enact the role of nurse educator in didactic class/classes.
- Enact the role of nurse educator in a clinical setting.
- Attend a curriculum or course planning meeting.
- Describe how caring and holism are integrated into the teaching experience.
