Reflection and Selected Internship Activity
Your goal in this proposal is to reflect and build on the content and skills covered in this course to designand propose an internship activity. Begin the process by reflecting on the following:
• What ideas from the course resonated with you? What is the source of their appeal?
• Which idea has the greatest potential for expansion into an internship activity with real-worldapplication in an educational setting?• What criteria are you using to make this decision?
• How does the proposed internship activity align with the organization area you selected for yourfinal internship a paper? Provide an example of 1-3 connections you might make.
• How will designing and implementing this activity promote student achievement? Be specificwhen explaining the benefits to students and their performance.
• How will designing and implementing this activity make you a more effective leader? Be specificwhen describing the leadership traits, you hope to develop or expand.
Activity Objectives
This is your opportunity to explain what you want to do during the internship activity. Describe what youwant to learn and achieve. You may write this in paragraph form or use bullet points to highlight thespecifics you want to accomplish. Use Bloom’s Taxonomy verbs to make your objectives measurable.(Bloom’s Taxonomy resources are located on the Learning Objects page). The objectives should bedesignated as to how they align to one or more program outcomes.
Real-World Application
A real-world application identifies an area within an actual setting, one which might need support,improvement, revision, or other opportunity requiring you to demonstrate your leadership skills.Applying theory and understanding of the tenets within the course is an aspect of application. Not alltheories apply to all situations. An aspect of your proposal should demonstrate your ability to criticallyjudge a circumstance and then determine an appropriate course of action.

• How will you accomplish your objectives? List and describe each specific step/activity and theestimated time for each one. (This estimate should match your total requested hours for thisactivity).
