Post a summary of an observation or interaction that reflects the conventions of your discourse community. This work prepares you for the Project 2 essay. Feel free to look at the questions for your first observation for Project 1, but also move beyond some of the surface analysis.
Try to think more critically and think specifically of the discourse used, topics discussed, as well as how that discourse is circulated within your discourse community. Since you will be using screenshots, hyperlinks, images, etc. for your Project 2 paper, try to include specific and detailed observations in regards to communication, what is communicated, how its communicated, etc., mechanisms for feedback, how others outside of your DC may discuss your chosen DC…
This can be as brief or detailed as you want. Whatever observations you include here can be used in your draft. So, by being more detailed, you might be able to get more work done ahead of time.
